After a theft from the yard last year a decision was made to alter the view of the promenade webcam so that members of the public could not see the equipment stored in the boatyard. Whilst this is a sensible security measure we appreciate that members could no longer use the club webcams to keep an eye on their boats.
We have had a number of security cameras in the compound that record for security purposes for many years. We have now made two of these cameras, those that oversee the compound, visible to our members.
To view the cameras individuals must be members and must have signed up, and been approved, to use the MYC website.
We hope that you find this new club feature a useful addition.
